My daughter came out of the pool shivering, but the UPF 50+ fabric dried her off surprisingly fast and kept the sun off her shoulders while we walked back to the car. The hood stayed put even when she was running around, which is more than I can say for her last towel.

The hooded towel is nice and roomy so my daughter can actually wrap up in it after her swim class, not just have it sit on her shoulders. The UPF 50+ factor is a thoughtful bonus too, though the fabric takes a little longer to dry than I'd like.
