The cotton is so dense yet soft that it actually feels nicer after a few washes. Dries quickly despite being thick, and the size is generous enough to spread out fully on the sand.
I’ve taken this to the pool every weekend since it arrived, and it’s still as soft and absorbent as day one—even after a dozen washes. The size is generous enough to actually stretch out on, and the Egyptian cotton feels thick without being heavy.
The cotton is noticeably finer than any other towel I've owned, and it stayed soft even after the first wash. It soaked up all the water after a swim without feeling heavy or clammy, exactly what I wanted for a long beach day.
