The velour is thick enough that my son stays warm walking from the pool to the car, and the Luna Tree print hides sand surprisingly well. He loves the hood staying put when he runs, which is a win for a towel that actually gets used.

My daughter refuses to take hers off after the pool, it's that comfy. The hood actually stays put once she's wrapped up, which is a win with a wriggly five-year-old, and the velour lining dries her off in no time.

My daughter insisted on wearing it around the house after her bath, and the hood actually stays put while she runs. The printed velour is soft enough that she didn’t complain about the tag, which is a win in our house.
