Took this to the beach with the kids and the water-resistant backing saved us when someone spilled a drink — wiped it right off. The three layers make it plush enough that we didn't feel every pebble underneath, which honestly surprised me for how thin it rolls up.
The water resistance is the real winner here—spilled lemonade pooled right on top and wiped off without soaking through. My six-year-old played on the embossed surface for hours and said it felt softer than our old blanket. That three-layer build shows in how thick it sits on the grass.
The embossed surface really does its job — crumbs and sand don't stick around, which made cleanup a breeze after our beach trip. Took a bit of effort to fold back into its carry bag, but the water resistance held up perfectly against a damp patch of grass.
