The hood is deep enough that my daughter actually keeps it on, and the UPF 50+ is a nice bonus for the walk back from the beach. It’s still a bit damp after a good soak, but it did the job and she’s happy.
We do a lot of pool days during the summer and this hooded towel has been a game changer for the walk back to the car.
